Here are some short stories of treks I have done in Sweden and abroad for the past few years.

2009 Arjeplog trek

During the summer of 2009 it had been three years since the last solo trek and I couldn't wait to get out in the wild again. I picked the Arjeplog because it probably would be quite desolate.

2006 A short trek in the Indian Himalaya

By the end of my 6 months of living and working in India I travelled up to the Indian Himalaya and spent 5 days of trekking together with a guide and three porters.

2004 September trek around Abisko

I was trekking a few days in and around Abisko national park with a friend the second week in september 2004. It was yellow colors, muddy, rainy and snowy, and pretty chilly. The sun broke through the clouds about one hour the last day.

2004 Isle of Skye, Scotland

I spent two weeks trekking on the Isle of Skye in Scotland in august 2004. I enjoyed relatively good wether, beautiful scenery, good food and beer and met some very kind people. Definitely a place I would recommend anyone to visit.

2002 Padjelanta National Park

In 2002 I walked alone for two weeks in Padjelanta National Park from Kvikkjokk to Ritsem. The weather couldn't have been better, with >20C and sunny most of the days.

2001 Härjedalen/Jämtland

In 2001 I spent a week in Härjedalen/Jämtland and walked by the massifs Helags and Sylarna. This was my first trek alone ever and it was definitely something I will do many times.
